While audience are curious about the much awaited Emraan Hashmi starrer 'Azhar', its official trailer is out and is very much splendid in its own sense. Emraan Hashmi shared the trailer on his twitter account on April 1, 2016.

He tweeted, "The wait is over! D story of d most successful & controversial Indian Captain!! #AzharTrailer OUT NOW: http://bit.ly/Azhar-OfficialTrailer … @AzharTheFilm."

'Azhar' is based on former Indian-International cricketer Mohammed Azharuddin's life. Azharuddin is one of most established cricketer, who got into controversies when he was blamed for match fixing. Emraan has completely got into the cricketer’s shoes from dialogue delivery to expressions and will surely prove justice to the character.

The first half of the trailer grooms the audience with sixes and fours hit by Emraan; while the second half showcases the entries of two beautiful women in Azhar's life where we get a glimpse of tears, moneybags, kisses and surprises.

Prachi Desai plays Emraan's first wife Naureen, a simple, typical woman whereas Nargis Fakhri plays Emraan's second wife Sangeeta Bijlani, an ultra-modern actress.

The trailer takes us to an adventurous journey of Azhar's life. The ups and downs faced by the cricketer and his fight to prove himself right. The trailer has now boosted up the excitement to watch the movie.

Directed by Tony D'Souza the film will hit the theatres on May13, 2016.
