(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Ozzy Osbourne says getting married so young was the stupidest thing he's ever done, as he was living the life of a "married bachelor".

The Black Sabbath rocker is famed for his high-profile relationship with his second wife Sharon, but tied the knot with Thelma Riley when he was in his early 20s.

Ozzy regrets walking down the aisle at such an inexperienced stage of his life.

"I got married at 21," he told Kerrang! magazine when asked what is the most stupid thing he's ever done. "I thought that's what you did. You get married, you have a house and live together until you die. But I was like a married bachelor. I shouldn't have done it.

"My son Jack is getting married at 27. I thought it was terribly young, but I was married with two kids by then."

Ozzy has children Aimee, Kelly and Jack with his second wife Sharon, and Jessica and Louis from his marriage to Thelma. He also adopted her son, Elliot.

Ozzy famously battled drug and alcohol addictions. The 63-year-old star has joked that his life is more meaningful since he kicked the habit.

"Not for a while, since I stopped drinking," he said, when asked about the last time he was arrested. "I went to the local pub, had a few beers and woke up in Amersham f**king jail. That's one of the perks of not being a f**king p**shead anymore!" (C) Cover Media
