Priyanka Chopra's Purple Pebble Pictures is focusing mainly on the regional cinema and here comes an ambitious tale of two young Nepalese siblings Amrita played by Ishika Gurung and Pranay played by Anmol Limboo. The movie is about escaping the mess as they migrate from one place to the other is how the trailer of Pahuna: The Little Visitors starts.
They live on their own in a natural habitat where both of them even look after their newly born sibling. They are running away from a priest of whom they are scared of and however in their absence kid is taken away by the priest.
The film had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) last year. It was adjudged the Best Film (Jury Choice) and got a Special Mention by Professional Jury in The International Feature Film Category at SCHLINGEL International Children's Film Festival in Germany.
Bankrolled by Priyanka Chopra's production house, the film has been directed by Paakhi A Tyrewala. It stars Ishika Gurung, Anmol Limboo, Manju KC, Saran Rai, Binod Pradhan, Uttam Pradhan and Banita Lagun.
