(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Pamela Anderson confesses that she is very much a patriot.

The Canadian model and actress is currently filming her upcoming comedy Jackhammer in her hometown of Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

Pamela, a mother of two teenage sons, resides in Los Angeles and misses home quite frequently.

She is grateful that she gets to spend time on the island with her family while she shoots the feature.

"Any chance to be home, I wanna be home," Pamela told ET Online. "And my kids are here, too, so it's great."

Pamela has a formidable career with decades of experience.

The star is unsure as to whether her boys with rocker Tommy Lee are eager to follow in their parents' Hollywood footsteps.

"I don't think they're very interested," she said.

Pamela has spoken before about her goals in show business.

"I knew I had to do something different. Be brave and bold and move from where I was," she told the UK edition of OK! magazine previously.

"Life is performance art. Risks and rewards. I've always just gone with the flow. Faith is a vehicle." (C) Cover Media
