Daughter of actress Sharmila Tagore and the Nawab of Pataudi, the former Captain of Indian Cricket team, Late Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, has her birthday today, i.e. on October 4th, 1978. 

Soha Ali Khan was born into the former princely family of Pataudi. Soha Ali Khan's brother, Saif Ali Khan is a popular Bollywood actor but Soha wasn't always keen to get into Bollywood.

She studied International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science and then went on to work for the Ford Foundation and Citibank. She made her acting debut with the movie Dil Maange More in 2004. Soha Ali Khan has been in this industry for a very few years, yet she has received a lot of critical acclaimation for her performances in movies like Khoya Khoya Chand, Rang De Basant and the Bengali movie Antar Mahal.

Soha Ali Khan has also hosted a show called Godrej Khelo Jeeto Jiyo on Star Plus.Apart from acting, she serves on the advisory board for a new project of the public entrepreneur group, Res Publica. She has also modeled for the spring-summer collection of Globus, the famous fashion brand.

Soha's upcoming movie Soundtrack is set to release on the 7th of October.
