(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Penlope Cruz says Johnny Depp savoured the moment she donned an unsavoury costume after losing a bet to him.

The stunning actress stars alongside Johnny in the fourth instalment of the hugely successful Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, On Stranger Tides.

The brunette beauty, who was pregnant during filming, is Angelica in the film, a woman from Captain Jack Sparrows past who joins him on his latest quest.

Penelope found working alongside Johnny fun, although losing a bet to the actor had an embarrassing consequence.

"Johnny is so funny. He and I had a bet during the movie, and if I lost I had to dress up like Mr. Hanky the Christmas Poo [from South Park]. And I did, she revealed in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

Johnny made the most out of winning the bet. The American actor had the costume custom-made and made sure he had lasting evidence of the prank.

"He made me wear it the last day of shooting and I had to walk around like that," she said. "He took a lot of pictures."

Johnny says it wasnt difficult to bring an air of freshness to his character Jack for the fourth instalment of the film series.

The 47-year-old believes the pirate is a very complex individual so he could create a number of movies based entirely on his personality alone.

Too much, he said, when asked how much he likes his character Captain Jack Sparrow. I feel like there are endless possibilities for the guy. If I felt I was done with the character after the first film, I would have hung up the hat and walked away. I felt like there was more to be done, more fun to be had, and more absurdity to be investigated, you know. (C) Cover Media
