(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Nick Jonas says his brother Joe has produced a quality solo album.

The pair are in band the Jonas Brothers together, alongside their other sibling Kevin. The band has taken time out recently to focus on other projects, with Joes debut LP almost ready.

Although hes been quite secretive about the release, Nick is one of the few who has already heard it. He is in no doubt itll be a huge hit and is very proud of what his brother has achieved.

Joe's record's really coming together nicely, he told MTV News. It's been kind of a process for him to create it, and he's taking his time, which I think is important. But it's really a quality record. I listened to it in the car, and I was just loving it.

Nick thinks people will be surprised when they finally hear the offering as its very different to Jonas Brothers material. Joe has tried to create an edgier sound, which has worked as hes teamed up with some of the biggest names in the business.

There's so many different sounds, and yet it's still consistent because it was produced by Danja and Rob Knox, who have just done some amazing work," Nick added. "And I'm excited for him. I think he'll have a great year, and [I'm] looking forward to people hearing the music."

Joe previously admitted he enjoyed writing material on his own as it was a challenge and also allowed him to be honest about his experiences. The new album includes songs about past relationships, including one which left Joe hurt. He wont discuss who it was with, but says being dumped two years ago left him devastated. (C) Cover Media
