(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Pete Wentz has stepped out in public with his new girlfriend.

The 32-year-old Fall Out Boy musician has been spotted out on dates with his new love in Los Angeles this week. On Thursday Pete and his sweetheart visited a playground with Pete and estranged wife Ashlee Simpson's two-year-old son Bronx.

"[Pete's new girl is] a model and it's a new relationship," a source told E! Online. "They're taking things slowly but he obviously thinks highly of her to introduce her to Bronx."

Pete and his lady friend were also spotted dining out at Japanese restaurant Katsuya in Hollywood. The pair shared a romantic meal together, complete with the most expensive sake on the house.

Pete and estranged wife Ashlee Simpson filed divorce papers in February after nearly three years of marriage. Ashlee and her new boyfriend actor Vincent Piazza went public with their relationship at his television show Boardwalk Empire's red carpet premiere earlier this month.

This week Pete has been comfortable with openly displaying his flourishing love affair with the unidentified model. He seems to be moving on from his failed relationship with Ashlee.
