Pop star Pink has opened up about the intricacies of motherhood.

The 32-year-old gave birth to daughter Willow Sage back in June and says that she is maintaining the flexibility of her life as a new mother but with some strict deadlines.

The singer spoke to People magazine yesterday at the premiere for new 3D movie Happy Feet Two, where she voices the character of penguin Gloria.

She brought along her baby girl and husband Carey Hart and dished about why she has to rush back to her Malibu mansion on occasion.

"As long as my boobs are at home at a certain hour, I can do whatever I want," she said about ensuring she was available to feed Willow.

But Pink being ever the jokester said that she plans on showing Willow her animated film when she is a bit older and the little one will be in for a surprise.

"In a couple years, I'm going to scare the crap out of my daughter with this movie!" Pink laughed.
