After bringing films like 'Lagaan', 'Swades' and 'Jodhaa Akbar', filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker is ready to roll the cameras for 'Mohenjo-Daro'.

After finalizing Hrithik Roshan for the lead , the female lead has been chosen. 

Going by Ashutosh Gowariker's past record of introducing new faces it is official - Pooja Hegde will play the female lead in Ashutosh Gowariker's 'Mohenjo-Daro'. 

Pooja will be paired opposite Hrithik Roshan in this Indus Valley Civilization set love story, produced by Ashutosh Gowariker production.
 
"I am extremely happy to have found Pooja Hegde. She is very natural as an actress and has an elegance and poise that will make the character attractive and endearing. Both these strengths with a degree of freshness adds the required spark to the 'Mohenjo-Daro' love story," says director Ashutosh Gowariker.
 
The film's pre-production is on in full swing and is slated to go on floor in the last quarter of this year.
