Pooja Gandhi, the 'Mungaru Male' heroine, is known for her on-screen magnetism but off-screen too, she is quite a darling of masses. Currently on a break from acting, the actress is doing social work and at present is busy in the rehabilitation of mentally disturbed and trafficked women. "I want the women in distress to get out of their past"' says Pooja, who is working her heart out for the troubled women. Pooja has enrolled many such women for vocational training. The first batch of has already been placed in various jobs.

Mean while Pooja Gandhi has made some major findings of the issue and she plans to record it in one documentary. Her documentary will be based on the victim's dreadful life and sufferings "I will get a team together once I return and we will start work on the documentary," says Pooja.
