December 27, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Director Prashant Chadha has taken his film crew and cast to Poland where the next leg of shooting for his film Azaan is in progress. The movie, which was earlier titled Mujjahir or out law was about a guy who had set out to protect the world from terror attacks.
Thus in order to get authentic look for each sequence the director has a plan sketched to shoot in Poland, Morocco, Germany, China if permitted and India which will include several cities.
Thus reports are that the present shooting is at Krakow, a Polish city where the schedule involves jumping off balconies, gardens, pub fighting sequences and long car chases which are certainly full of action and also shows the Polish city in a wide spectrum.
Reports doing the rounds are that there was an explosion in the city as the shot was an important one for the movie, but the Polish people were not complaining. They were more than happy that their city Krakow was being promoted in a big way via the medium of cinema.
The director had reportedly planned to shoot in Prague earlier but since his shooting schedules had clashed with other film shoots like the Hollywood biggie Mission Impossible IV and also the Bollywood big banner Imtiaz Alis Rockstar he decided to shift his schedule to Poland.
Earlier too Poland has been an important destination for Bollywood blockbusters like the Aamir Khan Kajol starrer Fanaa-2006.
The movie is turning out to be quite interesting and reportedly it will be a big draw internationally too due to its intense storyline.
