Preethika is the sister of Hindi actress Amirtha Rao. She made her debut as heroine through the film Chikku Bukku which had Aarya and Shreya in the cast. This film was directed by Manikandan who was the assistant of late director and cameraman Jeeva. Now Preethika is acting in a Telugu film.
