Director Shankar's big budgeted movies are always known for its long making schedules. But this time, he is keen on completing his upcoming movie 'Nanban' within a short span of time, say by a year. 'Nanban', a remake of Hindi movie '3 Idiots' has altogether 109 scenes out of which most of them are completely new and will be different from the Hindi version. Starring Vijay, Jeeva, Srikanth and Ileana D' Cruz in lead roles, the film went on floors by last week of January. Now as Vijay is busy shooting for 'Velayudham', he will join the sets by Feb 26. Meanwhile Shankar and Harris Jayaraj have flown down to London for the music composition. The producers of Gemini Film Circuit are keen on releasing the movie by Feb-March 2012 as they want to make sure that it reaches the students of all age groups before their examinations as it carries as a strong message based on educational system.
