The legend of Punjabi music Gurdaas Mann had met Mika Singh years ago, much before his first album released, and had predicted that Mika would become a name to recon with. Mika, who was still a guitar playing teenager then, cherished these words ever since. So it was a very special moment when at music director Jaidevs party Gurdass Mann not only met with Mika fondly but also shook a leg to Mikas latest superhit Apni To Jaise Taise with the singer himself! After a point the DJ played MIka's tunes and both the singers danced with each other, true blue Punjabi Munda style!


Gurdass Mann is a rockstar that all the Punjabi lads of my age aspired to be. It was an amazing experience to meet him when he had come for Daler Paajis show so many years ago. I had entertained him a lot that night and he had told me he could see a future for me in the music industry. It was my pleasure to share the stage and dance floor with this humble gentleman and actually see him groove to my songs. I feel blessed gushed Mika Singh.
