(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Britains Prince William and Kate Middleton have made an emotional visit to Princess Dianas grave.

The 28-year-old prince took his bride-to-be to his mothers place of rest just days before he marries the 29-year-old beauty.

The couple, who will tie the knot on April 29 in a ceremony at Londons Westminster Abbey, held hands as they somberly wandered through the grounds of the 14,000-acre Althorp Estate in Northamptonshire.

The pair took a boat to the island where Diana was buried 13 years ago to pay tribute to the princess and lay flowers.

It is understood William wanted his late mother to be involved with his wedding as he knew how much it would have meant to her, and is keen for Kate to share his memories.

Diana is still a huge part of her boys everyday life and always will be. It is very important for Kate to share and understand William's love and grief for his mum, a source told British newspaper The Daily Mirror. It is tragic that she wont be there to see the wedding, and that she never got to meet his bride. But even though Kate never met Diana she knows what an incredible woman she was and it is very important to her she can share and understand Williams love and grief for his mum. (C) Cover Media
