(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Rachel Weisz and Darren Aronofsky have ended their relationship.

The beautiful British actress and American filmmaker Darren began dating in 2001 and marriage was expected to be on the cards. They have a four-year-old son called Henry Chance together.

It has been revealed the pair split some time ago, although they have remained on good terms and will prioritise the upbringing of their son in New York, where they had all been living together.

"Rachel Weisz and Darren Aronofsky have been separated for some months. They remain close friends and are committed to raising their son together in NYC," a representative for the former couple told TMZ.

The pairs split has come to a surprise to many in Hollywood as Rachel and Darren were considered one of the strongest couples in the celebrity world. In the past Rachel has praised Darren, saying despite working on sinister movies such as Requiem for a Dream, hes actually a very warm person.

Seeing his films, youd think hes this weird, dark, intense guy, but I dont live with a dark person,

Hes really good at life, very good at going to the park and having a good time. He doesnt live in disorder or chaos, she said.
