Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan will resume work in India from September 2015. Singer said, "From September, I will be recording songs in India. Because of a controversy in the past, I wasn’t doing so. Even artists are sensitive. But now there’s no issue."

He was involved in a controversy for possessing foreign currency in 2011, since then he was recording all his songs from Pakistan.

Not revealing much about his upcoming song, he said, "Well, I can't say that. But the song is quite appealing."

Recently he crooned to 'Yaada Teri Andiya' track in Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty's debut film 'Hero'.
