A R Rahman became an international face after his appearance in the Oprah Winfrey Show in 2009 after the release of Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire. Today the composer will be featured once again in the OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) original primetime series, Oprah's Next Chapter as part of a two-part special episode titled Oprah Travels to India.
The Oscar-Grammy winner was earlier featured in the internationally renowned show in 2009 and it was while filming it, Rahman and Oprah decided to do a show in India.
Oprah’s new show has a two-part special episode based on her trip to India in January this year. And the episode will feature Rahman extensively. The episode will be aired on April 29, Sunday.
