Rahul Bose preferred real locations to shoot 'Poorna'

16th March 2017

Rahul Bose who has come up with an inspiring film 'Poorna' has preferred shooting at real locations. The actor-director has tried shooting for the film at real locations as much as possible.

Rahul Bose when asked about the shoot, he said, "When we started filming 'Poorna' I was certain we should shoot at as many actual locations as we can. So we shot at Poorna's village, Pakala, her actual hut, the actual location (Bhongir) she learnt rock climbing on, and at HMI, Darjeeling where she learnt mountaineering. We would have shot on Everest if we could have, but I doubt my crew from Bombay would have survived!"

The actor also shot few portions of the film at Poorna's residence.

Poorna is a biopic based on the life of Poorna Malavath, a 13-year-old Indian girl who created history by becoming the world's youngest person to scale the Mount Everest on May 25, 2014.

The makers of Poorna have left no stone unturned in bringing the finest movie for the audiences.

Directed by Rahul Bose, Produced by Rahul Bose Productions, Raay Media Pvt Ltd and Co-produced by Amit Patni, 'Poorna' is slated to release on 31 March 2017.
