On Tuesday morning filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani was admitted to Lilavati Hospital after he met with a bike accident.

According to sources one of his staff members had purchased a motorcycle and Hirani merely out of excitement decided to go a ride.

However, he was riding it at a very low speed and couldn't manage weight and fell. Resulting in a jaw fracture and injuries on his chin, the director is likely to be operated.

A relative of Hirani said, "He is in the hospital... he is in the ICU. He is fine, nothing serious. He will be discharged today. We can't talk right now."
