It is a very well known fact that Superstar Rajnikanth and Padmashree Kamal Haasan decided not to share screen space together from a very long time. But they were insisted to come together for a 10-min short film that was to be directed by filmmaker Balachandar and script written by Chief Minister Kalainyar M. Karunanidhi. The film was supposed to be screened during the inauguration of land that was meant for the building of houses for film technicians and artists. Soon as the elections are approaching, both Rajnikanth and Kamal Haasan have made their decisions clear that they will not be a part of this project till the elections are over as it may have different results.
