Ram Charan Teja kept to himself and watched the finale of the Chief Minister's Cup held at Bison Polo Grounds on Monday afternoon, until good friend Krishna Bhupal turned up. The duo caught up and cheered the teams together and Charan was ecstatic when his team emerged victorious in the nail-biting finale.

The actor is maintaining the 40-day Ayyappa Deeksha. He was attired in the mandatory black of the Deeksha. 'Based on the instructions of elders in his family, he has decided to go to Lord Ayyappa Temple. Hence he is wearing the Deeksha,' say sources close to the Mega family.

Speaking about the game, he said, "It feels great. These wins for us will help take Hyderabad polo team to the next league in the coming match. I am ready now to take it to the national platform starting with Jodhpur in Dec and then to the international circle next year."

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy graced the event and bonded with Major General Amit Sharma and his wife Renuka Sharma at the do. It was a well-attended affair that saw T-town stars, ministers, defence officers, dignitaries and socialites turn up in full attendance.
