The handsome Rana Daggupati is pairing up with Genelia for the first time, in the film 'Naa Ishtam'. Rana Daggupati made his debut with the film 'Leader directed by Sekhar Kammula and the movie turned out to be a blockbuster at the box office. After 'Leader' it's been said that Rana will act in a historical film directed by Selvaraghavan, who directed movies like '7G Brindavanam Colony', 'Aadavari Matalaku Ardhale Verulae' and 'Yukaniki Okadu'. The bubbly actress Genelia, is making her comeback with this film after a brief gap, who has acted in movies like ''Bommarillu' opposite Siddarth. Her last flick 'Orange' with Ram Charan hit the screens in November 2010. 'Naa Ishtam' will be produced by Paruchuri Kireeti under the banner of United Movies. Chakri has been roped in as the music director for the film. 'Naa Ishtam' is believed to be a commercial entertainer and contains all the elements that attract all groups of audiences.
