The last time this former couple worked together, they managed to deliver one of the biggest hits of that year. Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone's chemistry made 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' a blockbuster within no time.

The film got more mileage at the box office as it was their first film post their break up. The two showed their best professional and personal maturity as they claimed to be best friends who wouldn't let their past hinder their equation as friends and co-stars.

And now that the two are all set to commence shooting for yet another film and Ranbir is excited to work with Deepika again. It is an Imtiaz Ali film and Ranbir is happy to be working with him again.

"He gave me a film (Rockstar) that's very close to my heart. It changed my perception of acting and how an actor should approach movies," said Ranbir.

Ask him about his excitement to work with Deepika and he exclaims that he is happy to have got another chance to work with Deepika who he thinks has grown tremendously as an actor.

"We are mature individuals besides being great friends. I am very blessed that I can work with an actor like Deepika. She adds so much to a film with her beauty, mind, talent and sheer presence. I am grateful that I am getting an opportunity to work with her," he said.
