Bollywood's super talented superstar Ranbir Kapoor within the short span of his career so far has done variety of roles in the film catering to varied genres. From playing a chocolaty lover boy in 'Saawariya' and 'Ajab Prem ki Gajab Kahani' to playing a game planner in 'Raajneeti' to a troubled performer in 'Rockstar', Ranbir has been there done that.

Nonetheless, the actor who has also shown us his naughty and mischievous side in his item number "Tain Tain Phiss" in the film 'Chillar Party' may soon take the 'Mawali' streak ahead in his next, as reportedly, Ranbir has been offered director Abhinav Kashyap's next. 

Apparently, the film will have Ranbir playing a rustic urban lad much on the lines of Salman Khan's character in 'Dabangg'. The film is set in the backdrop of Mumbai and will have Ranbir playing a local lad with a 'Tapori' attitude and dialect. He has apparently already allotted the dates to the filmmaker and will commence the film in October, after completing Ayan Mukerji's next and the release of 'Barfii'.
