The much-awaited period drama of the year 'Padmavati' directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali is catching fire as finally the first look poster of Ranveer Singh as Sultan Alauddin Khilji is revealed. Following Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor's first looks, Ranveer's cruel serious look just spiced things up and increased our curiosity for the film much more. Ranveer's intense look is all about getting into the skin of this character. One of the greatest rulers of the Khilji Dynasty and for one moment we feel is this the real one. A scar below his eye and cat eye lens just brought the character of Alauddin Khilji to life.

"SULTAN ALAUDDIN KHILJI #Khilji," Ranveer captioned his first look poster on Twitter. Within no time it started trending on Twitter. ''Can't wait for this movie," "Khattarrnaaakk" were some of the fan's reactions on his first look.

Just like the previous two posters of the film were released, this time as well the co-actors used the same Royal announcement style prior to the release of the first look. Announcing it on twitter, Deepika wrote,"Ranveer Singh's first look as #Khilji arrives tomorrow morning!." The film stars are following the same 'shahi darbaar' announcing style to introduce every character to make sure that the audiences enjoy the princely feel from the past. 

Padmavati marks its release date as the first of December 2017.
