Not many know that Shah Rukh Khan is the only Bollywood star to have his wax statue in Grevin wax museum at Paris. But now the latest celebrity to join him in the museum is the ever-energetic Ranveer Singh. The actor will be immortalised in wax on his 31st birthday and this will the best birthday gift ever for the actor.
Pictures of him giving the measurements for the statue are doing the rounds of the internet and his fans are going crazy about it. It was during the time of his film 'Befikre' which was shot entirely in Paris, the actor got in touch with the sculptor Eric Saint Chaffray and the Grévin's artistic teams to provide them with the required data they needed. This meeting was held at the Pullmann Tour Eiffel hotel.
His eye colours, skin and hair were carefully recorded by the team and his hands were moulded too. The only thing they wanted was his face contours since the actor was wearing beard at that time for a film. It is also known that the actor will lent one of his costumes for the statue.
An excited Ranveer was quoted saying as, "It's a truly special birthday present and one that will always bring back beautiful memories of Paris. I love all things French, and am grateful to the museum that they have given me a permanent place in wax in their home and their hearts."
On the professional front Ranveer will be next seen in 'Padmavati' directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and also starring Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor in the lead.
