Ranveer Singh along with his best friend Arjun Kapoor, recently participated in an online show AIB Roast by a renowned stand-up comedy group.

However, he took the role of an on-stage comedian quite seriously and the jokes, way too far. Apparently he took various digs at his rumoured former lady love cum co-star Anushka Sharma.

However, the two soon broke up, reportedly due to Anushka's intolerance towards Ranveer's over-the-top nature. And this time too, it was his outgoing behaviour that soured their relationship further.

Anushka took an offence to his jokes and made it very evident to him. The intensity of her bad mood accelerated by the fact that Ranveer's current flame; Deepika Padukone was in splits at her boyfriend's jokes over Anushka. The 'PK' actress' alleged boyfriend, Indian Cricketer Virat Kohli, was upset too.

Nonetheless, as soon as Ranveer realised his mistake, he wasted no time in waiting and immediately called up Anushka to apologise. Though it has not been made clear whether Anushka accepted his apology or not, it can be said that Ranveer has learnt his lessons the hard way.
