Reese Witherspoon had a "really major" crush on Johnny Depp and had posters of him in her bedroom.
Before the actress shot to fame as a Hollywood star, Reese was infatuated with the hunk. She loved watching him in a famous TV crime show that aired in the US during the late 80s.
"I have to say probably Johnny Depp in 21 Jump Street. I just had a really major crush on him," Reese confessed to MTV News. "I used to pull pictures out of Teen Beat and put them on my wall."
Although Reese grew up to be a huge movie star and has met Johnny several times, she would never dream of telling him about her teenage crush.
The 35-year-old insists the actor is popular among many females and he must be used to meeting admirers.
"I don't think he knows," she laughed. "I'm not sure it would faze him: I'm sure he's heard that quite a bit."
Reese is currently starring in This Means War. The movie, also starring Chris Pine and Tom Hardy, gave Reese the opportunity to take part in daring action scenes. The Oscar-winner loved throwing herself into a different type of film and wants to constantly challenge herself with new movie roles.
"I try not to make the same movie twice. I try to explore and push out in new areas, and I thought it was a nice way to get comedy and action together," she explained. "I've never really been in a movie with a bunch of guns and action sequences. I'd turn to Tom and Chris and say, 'The bad guys are chasing us this is hysterical!' It would just make me laugh. I think it's ridiculous me running from the bad guys. But it was really fun."
