Seems like the massive faliure of Ram Gopal Varma's (RGV) latest release 'Department' has not gone down well with either the director nor actor Sanjay Dutt.
The movie crashed at box office and was thrashed by both, critics and the audience.
All was well till the time the movie was being promoted. However, post its release B-town witnessed a big tiff between Ram Gopal Varma and Sanjay Dutt.
There were reports that Sanjay Dutt had expressed his views of not wanting to work with RGV again. Not only Dutt, but Dharam Oberoi, CEO of Sanjay Dutt Productions was also of the same view point.
According to sources, Sanjay and Oberoi were not happy about RGV using a 5D camera to shoot the film and many changes in the screenplay were also suggested by the duo.
Dharam Oberoi said, "I am sure that I don't want to work with Ramu on any other project in my life. We told Ramu so often those 5D cameras, which he used, are not apt to make a film but to no avail. Ramu just does not listen."
Dutt seconded Oberoi saying, "I have been in the industry for 32 years and I know which cameras are suitable and which are not. But ab kya karen? Jo ho gaya so ho gaya. But yes, I really don't know at this point of time if I want to work with Ramu again."
And now, Ram Gopal Varma has said that he does not want to see Sanjay Dutt's face for the rest of his life as he had a "horrible time" working with the actor.
Here's a screen grab of what RGV has posted on his microblogging site expressing his displeasure about Dutt.
Hmmm, this war of words looks endless at this point. Let's wait and watch what the outcome is like!
