Veteran actor, Rishi Kapoor plans to reconstruct his bungalow, Krishna Raj located in Pali Hill, which has been stuck over for four years now as the civic authorities are yet to give a go-ahead.

A member of Pali Hill Residents' Association has been objecting to his proposal for an office space and preview theatre on the property.

A source said that the Kapoors want to convert the bungalow into 15 storey building with a swimming pool, office and a preview theatre but Madhu Poplai, secretary of the association who has been objecting the project says, "The association has never objected to any construction in the vicinity, but we have been opposing the plan for a preview theatre and office space. Pali Hill is a residential area and we want to maintain that."

The member thus filed an RTI application seeking details of Rishi's bungalow expansion plan.
