The Kapoor Khandaan celebrated the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi with great pomp and show as their Bappa was resided in R K studios. Recently a video was doing the rounds of internet which showcased the chaos caused during the visarjan of their ganesh idol. It also showcased Ranbir Kapoor pushing a reporter while getting into his car.

According to a leading daily, "Rishi Kapoor did push some people as they were coming in the way of the procession and it was raining very heavily and he has accepted that also, but the video has been tampered with and some footage in between has been edited. The journalist was not hit by Ranbir, he fell on his own. But the video shows as if he was pushed. So he will be consulting his lawyers on Monday and then taking a call."

Rishi Kapoor also tweeted about the same. He wrote on his twitter, "Identified the channel and the reporter who deliberately maligned us. Media helped. Lawyers being consulted. Thank you who ever stood by us."
