(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Rob Kardashian says he is sick of his family's reality show.

The 24-year-old is currently starring on this season of Dancing With The Stars and it appears his stardom in his own right is making him want to be more independent.

The only Kardashian son has grown up with sisters Kim, Kourtney and Khlo and says he is changing people's perception of him, as someone who just rides on his sibling's coattails.

"This show is definitely showing me a newer light," he told People magazine after his performance last night. "I feel like people are starting to see a different side of me."

He added that he is enjoying being on a different reality show apart from Keeping Up With The Kardashians which thrust his family into the spotlight.

"I'm sick of all that and I'm trying to branch away from all that," he says of show.

In many episodes Rob has been portrayed him as a lazy houseguest of his sisters who doesn't work.

"I live on my own. I have had a job before," he explained. "People don't know a lot about my life before all this. People will see a lot of different stuff to come."

Rob's dancing partner Cheryl Burke said that he is "turning into a man" through his hard work and dedication on the show and that he is "changing his way of thinking about himself."
