(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Robert De Niro has taken part in a spoof interview where he was hugged after every question.

The Hollywood icon is currently at the Toronto International Film Festival promoting his new movie Killer Elite. While there he agreed to take part in a discussion with Guillermo Rodriguez for American television programme Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Guillermo is famed for his madcap interviews, and his talk with Robert was no different.

"Wearing a ridiculous red Canadian Mountie costume, he hugged De Niro after every question, totalling eight times," reports New York Post.

Guillermo was nervous ahead of taping the segment. He's a fan of Robert and was also wary of his tough-guy persona.

"Nobody got hurt, he didn't kill me," Guillermo laughed to the publication.

Guillermo started work as a security guard for the talk show, a job which has become increasingly hard for him now he's also a correspondent for the programme.

Killer Elite is about a retired member of Britain's Elite Special Air Service who is forced back into the job when the man who taught him everything he knows is taken hostage. It also stars Jason Statham, Clive Owen and Dominic Purcell. (C) Cover Media
