(Cover) - EN Star Style - Robert Downey Jr. made his son cut his hair when it became too matted.

The actor has a 17-year-old son, Indio, with his ex-wife Deborah Falconer and tries hard to be a fun parent. That said, there are certain things the star is firm about. Indio recently began experimenting with his tresses, something Robert couldnt abide.

He wanted to let his hair grow and become matted. Not with me! I made an appointment with a hair dresser and made him to take care of the chaos on his head, Robert said. He was quite offended but one day he will be thankful for me not letting him get away with everything.

Robert is now happily married to Susan Levin, and has recently hinted he may be ready to have another child before long. He enjoys parenting, saying its all about finding the line between being tender and strict.

The 45-year-old insists all kids need rules if they are to grow up rounded, which is what he is trying to instil in Indio. (C) Cover Media
