Robert Pattinson considers script work

5th November 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Robert Pattinson would love to be a script doctor because he could make money without being famous.

The star is best known for playing Edward Cullen in the Twilight series. He's struggled with the intense fame the part has attracted, although he knows he's very lucky to live in the way he does.

The franchise has now finished shooting and Robert has hinted he might take his life in another direction.

"I'd like to be a script doctor. My ideal job is figuring out how to make a script that doesn't work, work," he explained. "Doesn't matter [about the fame] you get the money."

The star doesn't worry about winning parts similar to Edward in the future. He's sure he'll mange to diversify throughout his career.

"I'd be interested to see how I'm perceived in a couple of years," he told Look magazine. "I don't know how to predict anything. Edward's so specific, you can't really get typecast. I mean, there are only so many parts that are benevolent vampires! It would be insane to do another one afterwards." (C) Cover Media
