(Cover) - EN Movies - Chris Rock has joined the cast of What to Expect When You're Expecting.

The American funnyman and Anna Kendrink are the latest stars to join the Kirk Jones-directed adaptation of the hit baby book.

The stars will join a cast that includes Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, Isla Fisher and newly-confirmed star Brooklyn Decker.

The comedy drama will follow six expectant couples as they prepare to become parents.

According to Deadline, Chris will play the leader of the group of bumbling fathers who "lectures them" on the ups and downs of becoming a dad.

Lionsgate announced that Anna, who is best known for her role in Up in the Air alongside George Clooney, will play a woman who reunites with an old flame.

Filming on the anticipated romantic comedy begins this summer, with the movie set for a May 2012 release date. (C) Cover Media
