We often come across certain instances where people are seen defending allegations against their close ones but in Bollywood, friendship isn't bound to personal limits only, for when it comes to actors and actresses, everyone from directors to other co-stars, stand in their defense. That's what is currently happening with Bipasha Basu and her'Dum Maaro Dum' team.

Recently, Rohan Sippy the director of the film had held a press conference for the film's promotion and some intrusive reporters questioned the director as to why wasn't Bipasha seen in most of the promotional activities. According to the media, the reason behind Bipasha's absence is the queries regarding her personal equation with her co star in the film, Rana Daggubati. To this, the director jumped to Bipasha's defense. He was of the opinion that Bipasha's absence had nothing to do with her break-up with John Abraham and her link-up with Rana Daggubati; it was her busy schedule that kept her away from the promotions of'Dum Maaro Dum'. Rohan stated that Bipasha is currently neck deep in her work for an upcoming Hollywood film and a couple of Bollywood films too. Hence she had to give promotions a miss, as she ought to complete her professional commitments first.

No matter what explanation comes from Rohan, the media is convinced that Bipasha is keeping mum and maintaining a low profile, only because of the complexities in her personal life.
