Before few days, it was announced that Gowtham Menon will direct Karthi's next film, which was reported to be a bilingual project. It was mentioned that the hotties Sameera Reddy and Samantha will star opposite him in female lead roles with Ashok producing the film. Nonetheless the actor has denied such issues as a mere rumor. When contacted the spokesperson of Karthi, he said that the actor is busy now in the post production of his next film 'Siruthai' scheduled to hit screens on January 14 for the occasion of Pongal. Also he added that the actor will sign new projects only after this release. Sources closer to Gowtham Menon added that the auteur is now likely looking to start his Hindi remake of 'Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya' that will have Pratheik Babbar and Amy Jackson in lead roles. Academy award winner A.R. Rahman will score music for the Hindi version as well.
