Russell Crowe reportedly ordered a pineapple cocktail shortly after his disastrous kayak trip.

The actor had to be picked up by coast guards after he and his personal trainer lost their bearings while canoeing over the weekend, ending up ten miles away from their original route.

According to the New York Post, Russell calmed his nerves with a drink shortly afterwards.

"[He] sat dockside dining on a colossal shrimp cocktail and burger," a source told the publication. "[He also had] a pineapple margarita mixed to his specifications."

Russell originally ordered a Guinness at the Prime Restaurant in Huntington Harbor, Long Island.

The actor was dressed casually in jeans and a T-shirt and didn't make any fuss when he arrived, or when he left shortly after his meal.

Russell has been shooting Darren Aronofsky's biblical drama Noah recently, in which he plays the title character. He has changed his appearance for the role, reportedly growing his hair and beard. It's been suggested the 48-year-old star appeared so different his rescuers didn't know who he was at first.
