Akshay Kumar, who is known for paying the highest amount of tax has been beaten by Salman Khan this year. Salman Khan's 'Sultan' released this year and made a huge box office collection of Rs.600 cr. It is therefore evident that Salman must have received a huge amount of money.

According to the advance taxes paid list till September 16, Salman has paid Rs.16 cr. He has paid an advance tax of Rs.11 cr last year and so he paid Rs.5 cr more this year.

Salman is followed by Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan who have paid a total tax of Rs.11 cr in this financial year.

Meanwhile, Kapil Sharma is also in the race as he paid Rs.6.06 cr as an advance tax.
