After a dud like 'London Dreams', Asin and Salman are once again cast opposite each other in their upcoming film 'Ready'. It is believed that it was Salman who influenced the film-makers to cast Asin opposite him in this comic-caper. Reportedly, once more, it was Salman who coerced director Anees Bazmee to have Asin's role based on Madhuri's character 'Nisha' from 'Hum Aapke Hain Kaun'. This is because of the fondness that Salman has for 'Nisha's character in the family drama film of the 90's. Salman says the character of 'Nisha' is somewhat of the kind of girl whom he would take home to his mother.

One can't help but wonder what made Salman convince the makers to have Asin's role sculpted along the lines of 'Nisha' for this particular film, is it Salman's fondness for Asin, that has been quite evident since the 'London Dreams' days, or is it just that he wants to create a girl-next-door image for her in the industry. By giving her the look of his dream girl, Salman has certainly raised gossip levels in his already controversial personal life, as Salman never gave a special makeover to any of his female co-stars (Katrina Kaif or Zarine Khan) earlier. Given his single status, it wouldn't take too long for Salman's such moves to turn into gossip monsters.

Guess we just have to wait and watch for the film 'Ready' to hit the screens, to ascertain his true intentions.
