Director Srinu Vaitla has announced that his immediate film would be the remake of Mahesh Babu starring Telugu blockbuster Dookudu in Hindi with Salman Khan.

However, it is now said that Salman might take up the project later, as at present, he is busy with other commitments. Hence the director has decided to start a Telugu movie soon.

'Though Salman is very much impressed with the script and narration of Dookudu, he is currently unable to do the project in Hindi. He has sought time from Srinu Vaitla,' sources say.

They ad, 'Srinu Vaitla firmly believes that Salman alone could do justice to the role and hence decided to wait for him. So his immediate project would be in Tollywood with a leading actor playing the protagonist.'
