From the last few years, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has dominated box office on the auspicious day of Eid with his blockbuster releases. From 'Wanted', 'Dabangg', 'Bodyguard' and 'Ek Tha Tiger', Salman has had consecutive releases on Eid every year. 

But recently Akshay Kumar clinched Salman's favorite spot when the makers of his film 'Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai 2' announced that they would release their film on Eid, 2013. As till then there were no plans announced of any Salman's release because of which it came out as a safe bet. 

However, now we hear that there is some danger for Akshay's release as reportedly there is a Salman Khan film that might release on Eid. 

Salman apparently doesn't want to break his successful streak with Eid and hence is planning to release one of his in-the-pipelines films on Eid in 2013. 

It remains to be seen if Akshay would dare to lock horns with the industry's currently inevitable star Salman or decides to back off from the date once Salman finalizes the release.
