Hailing from Andhra Pradesh, Sameera Reddy is a pan Indian actress now. After making her presence felt in Tollywood and Kollywood, she is now signing bright in Hindi and Bengali film industries.

Says the actress, 'I am happy in the south than in the north. I get more character oriented roles in the south when compared to the glamorous characters I get from Bollywood. At the same time, I should say that more young filmmakers with a lot of talent are coming to Bollywood.'

Stating that no actress is best friend to her, Sameera adds, 'I don't think two actresses can be best friends. But it doesn't mean that I fight with everyone. I maintain a cordial relationship, but there is no personal touch to it.'

Describing Gautham Menon as one of her favourite directors, the actress says that she loved working with him in two of his movies- Vaaranam Aayiram and Nadunisi Naaygal.
