Sanjay Dutt, who is currently serving his five-year sentence for illegal possession of arms and other destructive weapons during the 1993 bomb blast at Yerawada prison, shall be released on February 25, 2016.
According to a senior official the actor will be released almost 3 months before his actual release. The senior official further confirms that the decision was taken considering the actor's good conduct during his imprisonment.
Though the news about his early release is in the media, so far no one from the Dutt family has asserted about the same.
The actor's frequent grant for furlough and parole had caused many debates in the past.
