(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Saoirse Ronan says she is a massive fan of Lady Gaga.

The 16-year-old starlet shot to international fame with her role in 2007 movie Atonement, where she was nominated for an Academy Award, confirming her status as one of the movie industrys most talented rising stars.

With future projects in the pipeline, including action thriller Hanna, and her possible involvement in The Lord of the Rings spinoff Hobbit, Saoirse is looking forward to a fruitful 2011.

As she approaches her 17th birthday, Saoirse reveals her parents have already given their gift. The actress is s huge fan of pop phenomenon, Lady Gaga, and as a result has been treated by her parents to her perfect night out.

"They got me tickets for Lady Gagas show Monday here in L.A. I went to see her in Berlin when we shot Hanna and that is when I became a really big fan," she told E!

The actress also revealed that her involvement in Hobbit, directed by Peter Jackson, is not secured, with further talks still remaining. Saoirse does feel the talks will be a mere formality however, as she is longing to appear in the films.

"That's not confirmed. I would love to do it. It would be great to go there, and if they ask me I would say yes," she added. (C) Cover Media
