After the release of the first poster of 'Simmba', various speculations were on the loose about who the leading lady would be.

Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar have signed Sara Ali Khan to be his leading lady in his next directorial venture. Sara Ali Khan will be seen opposite Ranveer Singh who plays the role of a notorious cop named Sangram Bhalerao.

Simmba marks the debut collaboration of Rohit and Karan and undoubtedly the fresh leading pair of Ranveer and Sara.  

Reliance Entertainment presents, Rohit Shetty Picturez and Dharma Productions, 'Simmba' is slated to release worldwide on 28th December, 2018.

Sara' s debut project 'Kedarnath' starring Sushant Singh Rajput directed by Abhishek Kapoor had hit a road-block due to differences between makers and director, but sources suggest the actress has resumed the shoot post the disputes were settled.
