(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Sarah Harding was petrified she had been caught stealing after her Girls Aloud bandmates played a prank on her.

The girl band formed in 2002 and have remained firm friends ever since. Sarah, Kimberley Walsh, Nicola Roberts, Cheryl Cole and Nadine Coyle always make time for each other, and try to support each other in all their ventures.

They are currently taking time out from the band to focus on individual projects, with Nicola recently launching her own make-up line.

“Sarah and I attended the launch of Nicola’s Dainty Doll range and the three of us had a lovely night reminiscing about the old days,” Kimberley explained.

“Sarah remembered right at the beginning she purloined this plate from a hotel because she liked the look of it. When she got downstairs, our press officer pretended that the security had called and were on the way to nab her. She was panicking like mad, freaking out, while we were laughing.”

The girls wouldn’t change anything about their early time together, and love recalling some of the fun escapades they had. Kimberley is adamant their close bond is part of the reason they have all managed to stay grounded.

“They were such happy days, even though we really didn’t know what we were doing,” she told the British edition of OK! magazine.

“We’ve still got that support network now. I think that’s why we’ve all stayed pretty balanced – because we’ve got each other.” (C) Cover Media
